The Royalton Royals basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Mora Mustangs to 23 in the Royals league triumph on Monday.
The Royals now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Royalton will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 55-41 non-league win over Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-2.
The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Fighting Saints enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, St. Francis triumphed over North Branch (North Branch, MN), 58-48, in a non-league contest.
