The New London Tigers basketball team (New London, IA), was overwhelmed 70-39 in Monday's non-league battle with the host WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA)
The Warriors now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wapello for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. WACO will confront a Indians team coming off a 54-32 league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Indians record now stands at 5-6.
The Tigers (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Hawks come into the SEI - West battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Central Lee was overwhelmed by Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA), 62-45, in a non-league battle.
