Kentucky High School Basketball - St. Henry tipped by Newport Central Catholic

The Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds basketball team scored 35 points and held the host St. Henry Crusaders to 33 in the Thoroughbreds non-league triumph on Monday.
The Thoroughbreds now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scott for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Newport Central Catholic will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
The Crusaders (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Colonels enter the District 34 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Dixie Heights nudged East Central (St. Leon, IN), 64-46, in a non-league game.
