In Monday's league outing, the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Newport Buffaloes (Newport, PA), by a margin of 56-36.

The Trojans (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Greenwood (Millerstown, PA). The Wildcats go into the Tri-Valley outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Greenwood was topped by East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA), 24-22, in a league outing.

The Buffaloes now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host York County Tech for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 11. Newport will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Biglerville (Biglerville, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-9.
