In Monday's league outing, the Sto-Rox Vikings (McKees Rocks, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA), by a margin of 65-30.
The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans go into the WPIAL 2A 2 outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Brentwood smashed Carlynton (Carnegie, PA), 39-33, in a league outing.
The Flames now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Springdale for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 11. Northgate will clash with a Dynamos squad coming off a 52-18 league loss to Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA). The Dynamos record now stands at 2-7.
