Ohio High School Basketball - Northmont knocked off by Valley View

The Valley View Spartans basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Northmont Thunderbolts to 25 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eaton for a Southwestern Buckeye - West contest on Saturday, January 14. Valley View will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-48 non-league loss to Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
The Thunderbolts (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Huber Heights, OH). The Warriors enter the Greater Western Ohio contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Wayne was defeated by Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH), 55-49, in a non-league contest.
