The Saucon Valley Panthers basketball team (Hellertown, PA), was toppled 39-30 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA)
The Spartans now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 12. Southern Lehigh will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 37-18 non-league win over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Rough Riders come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Catasauqua was toppled by Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA), 42-30, in a non-league battle.
