Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Springdale overwhelmed by Winchester Thurston

The Winchester Thurston basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Springdale Dynamos to 18 in the league victory on Monday.
The now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Serra Catholic for a WPIAL 2A 3 contest on Thursday, January 12. Winchester Thurston will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-22 league win over Clairton (Clairton, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
The Dynamos (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Flames come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Northgate was routed by Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA), 65-30, in a league contest.
