The Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), 29-26 in Monday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Bealeton, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Liberty was tipped by Sherando (Stephens City, VA), 30-13, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Sherando will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 27-10 non-league loss to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
