The Marquez Gladiators basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats to 29 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Monday.

The Gladiators now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torres for a contest on Tuesday, January 10. Marquez will battle a Toros team coming off a 61-51 league loss to Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA). The Toros record now stands at 0-3.

The Bobcats (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Belmont (Los Angeles, CA). The Sentinels enter the contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Belmont was defeated by Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA), 57-18, in a league contest.
