The Monarch Knights (Coconut Creek, FL) basketball felled the visiting West Broward Bobcats (Pembroke Pines, FL), 46-37 in Monday's non-league test.
The Knights (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Taravella (Coral Springs, FL). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Taravella was beaten by West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL), 44-38, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host South Broward for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. West Broward will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 80-30 non-league loss to Cypress Bay (Weston, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-10.
