The Grizzlies now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to De La Salle for a East Bay test on Thursday, January 12. California will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Mt. Eden drops to 2-9 on the season. The Monarchs host Alameda (Alameda, CA) to meet the Hornets in a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Wednesday, January 11. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 5-4. Alameda lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA)
