The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ), saw Deer Valley's soccer squad triumph over Mohave by a count of 7-1.
The Skyhawks now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Shadow Mountain for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Deer Valley will meet a Matadors squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Matadors record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Mohave drops to 3-3 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ) to meet the Bears in a 4A Grand Canyon test on Wednesday, January 11. The Bears come into the test with a record of 8-2. Bradshaw Mountain won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Eastmark (Mesa, AZ)
