In Monday's league battle, the visiting Tonopah Valley Phoenix soccer squad scored a close 3-1 win over the Heritage Academy Heroes.
The Phoenix (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ). The Golden Eagles go into the 3A Southwest battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Bourgade Catholic nipped Antelope (Wellton, AZ), 12-0, in a league battle.
The Heroes (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against NFL Yet Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles go into the 3A Southwest battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, NFL Yet Academy by Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ), 1-0, in a league battle.
