The Alexander Spartans basketball team (Albany, OH), was routed 75-40 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH)

The Lancers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trimble for a Tri-Valley II battle on Friday, January 12. Federal Hocking will battle a Tomcats team coming off a 63-43 non-league win over Wellston (Wellston, OH). The Tomcats record now stands at 7-3.

The Spartans (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Logan (Logan, OH). The Chieftains come into the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Logan was routed by St. Charles (Columbus, OH), 44-10, in a non-league battle.
