With the victory, Iowa improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 10-9.

Next up, the Trojans play the Bunkie Panthers (Bunkie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Alexandria will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 46-36 league win over Jena (Jena, LA).
