In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), by a margin of 70-53.
The Arrows (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN). The Battlers go into the A Section 6 outing with a 1-10 record. In their last outing, Battle Lake was beaten by Wheaton (Wheaton, MN), 66-39, in a non-league outing.
The Thunder now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Swanville for a A Section 5 outing on Thursday, January 11. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 85-71 non-league loss to Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-9.
