Asher Indians (Asher, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Maud Tigers (Maud, OK), 66-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Asher upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Indians host Vanoss (Ada, OK) to clash with the Wolves in a Pontotoc bout on Friday, January 12. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Vanoss won 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against Hollis (Hollis, OK)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Elmore City-Pernell Badgers (Elmore City, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Maud will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 66-42 league win over Healdton (Healdton, OK).
