In Tuesday's league outing, the Balmorhea Bears (Balmorhea, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Big Bend Roadrunners (Terlingua, TX), by a margin of 72-28.

The Bears (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Dell City (Dell City, TX). The Cougars go into the 1A Region II District 9 outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Dell City was trounced by Sierra Blanca (Sierra Blanca, TX), 67-62, in a league outing.

The Roadrunners now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marfa for a 1A Region II District 9 outing on Friday, January 12. Big Bend will clash with a Shorthorns squad coming off a 35-32 league win over Van Horn (Van Horn, TX). The Shorthorns record now stands at 8-10.
