The Locust Grove Wildcats basketball team (Locust Grove, GA), dropped 63-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA)

The Trojans now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Creekside for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, January 12. Banneker will battle a Seminoles team coming off a 83-51 league loss to Jackson (Atlanta, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 1-11.

The Wildcats (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons come into the AAAAA Region 2 battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Warner Robins prevailed over Ola (McDonough, GA), 113-65, in a league battle.
