The Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) basketball felled the visiting Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND), 67-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Lakers (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood was beaten by Harvey (Harvey, ND), 62-60, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Velva for a B District 8 test on Thursday, January 11. Bishop Ryan will encounter a Aggies squad coming off a 70-38 league loss to Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND). The Aggies record now stands at 1-7.
