The Gruver Greyhounds routed the host Bovina Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 82-32 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Greyhounds face the Sunray Bobcats (Sunray, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, January 16. Gruver will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record.

The Mustangs now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Boys Ranch for a 2A Region I District 3 test on Friday, January 12. Bovina will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to West Texas (Stinnett, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 4-9.
