In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) basketball squad edged the host Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX), by a margin of 61-60.
The Bulls (10-14) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Bullfrogs go into the 4A Region I District 8 outing with a 2-15 record. In their last outing, Lake Worth was tipped by Sanger (Sanger, TX), 69-43, in a non-league outing.
The Rams now own a 5-22 record. They play next when they host Glen Rose for a 4A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, January 12. Mineral Wells will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 46-43 non-league loss to Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-13.
