Cass Lake-Bena Panthers (Cass Lake, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Deer River Warriors (Deer River, MN), 94-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cass Lake-Bena upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Panthers host Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN) to play the Falcons in a A Section 8 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Fertile-Beltrami won 81-58 in their recent non-league bout against East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Red Lake Warriors (Red Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Deer River will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record.
