Arizona High School Basketball - Cholla thwarts Cienega

The Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ), 77-69 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Chargers (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Rincon/University went down by Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ), 55-50, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Tucson High Magnet School for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11. Cienega will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 75-42 non-league win over Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 16-1.
