The Luther Lions basketball team (Luther, OK), was nudged 44-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Community Christian Royals (Norman, OK)

The Royals now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millwood for a Greater Metro battle on Friday, January 12. Community Christian will battle a Falcons team coming off a 69-33 non-league win over Ponca City (Ponca City, OK). The Falcons record now stands at 8-3.

The Lions (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Oklahoma Christian Academy (Edmond, OK). The Eagles come into the Freelance battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Oklahoma Christian Academy was nudged by Christian Heritage (Del City, OK), 67-37, in a league battle.
