With the win, Edna Karr upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Cougars host Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Crusaders in a 5A District 9 bout on Friday, January 12. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Brother Martin won 67-52 in their recent league bout against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Eleanor McMain will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 59-52 non-league win over Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA).
