The Enfield Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Wethersfield Eagles to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Hartford for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Enfield will meet a Hornets team coming off a 66-62 non-league win over Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 4-2.
The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Terriers enter the Central Connecticut - North Colonial contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Rocky Hill was defeated by Newington (Newington, CT), 82-38, in a league contest.
