Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME), 67-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln Academy upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Oceanside (Rockland, ME) to play the Mariners in a B South bout on Friday, January 12. The Mariners come into the bout with a record of 8-0. Oceanside won 114-42 in their recent league bout against Leavitt (Turner, ME)

Next up, the Eagles play the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 12. Erskine Academy will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 3-7 record after their 114-42 league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME).
