Glenville Tarblooders (Cleveland, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Maple Heights Mustangs (Maple Heights, OH), 67-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenville upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Tarblooders host Lincoln West (Cleveland, OH) to play the Wolverines in a Senate bout on Friday, January 12. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Lincoln West lost 63-22 in their recent non-league bout against Normandy (Parma, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lutheran East Falcons (Cleveland Heights, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Maple Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 51-43 non-league win over Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH).
