Rhode Island High School Basketball - Johnston crushes Hope

Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 67-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Johnston upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Panthers host South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to clash with the Rebels in a Division 2 bout on Saturday, January 13. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Blue Wave clash with the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
