In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Leonard Tigers basketball team scored a decisive 95-47 triumph over the Hughes Springs Mustangs.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 match, on Friday, January 12. Leonard will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 15-6 record after their 54-32 league win over Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX).
