The Incarnate Word Academy Angels basketball team (Corpus Christi, TX), was overwhelmed 89-40 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host St. Michael's Crusaders (Austin, TX)

The Crusaders now possess a 25-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antonian Prep for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. St. Michael's will battle a Apaches team coming off a 79-71 non-league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 19-5.

The Angels (12-11) will now prepare for their battle against Geneva (Boerne, TX). The come into the TAPPS 4A District 3 battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Geneva trounced John Paul II (Corpus Christi, TX), 71-25, in a league battle.
