In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lawrence County Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 77-62 triumph over the Russell Red Devils.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) in a District 58 match, on Friday, January 12. Lawrence County will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record.

With the defeat, Russell moves to 7-5 on the year. The Red devils host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to meet the Musketeers in a District 63 match on Friday, January 12. The Musketeers enter the match with a record of 8-9. Greenup County won 43-42 in their recent non-league match against Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH)
