With the victory, Pinnacle upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Vikings in a 6A Desert Valley bout on Friday, January 12. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Sunnyslope won 59-30 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A East Valley bout, on Friday, January 12. Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 50-40 league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ).
