Rhode Island High School Basketball - South Kingstown trounces Mt. Hope

The South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) basketball crushed the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 71-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rebels (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders go into the Division 2 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Shea walloped Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 62-39, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Coventry for a Division 2 test on Friday, January 12. Mt. Hope will encounter a Oakers squad coming off a 70-49 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 3-4.
