Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL), 89-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Okaw Valley upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Lincoln Prairie bout on Friday, January 12. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Villa Grove lost 64-54 in their recent league bout against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos (Cerro Gordo, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie bout, on Friday, January 12. Unity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 54-41 league loss to Sullivan (Sullivan, IL).
