In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Panhandle Christian Home Educators Warriors (Amarillo, TX), by a margin of 65-38.

The Skyrockets (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Wheeler (Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region I District 2 outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Wheeler smashed Amarillo Collegiate Academy (Amarillo, TX), 63-35, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Cross Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. Panhandle Christian Home Educators will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 84-51 league win over Accelerate Christian (Amarillo, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-4.
