The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays to 46 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Griggsville-Perry for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 52-17 non-league win over Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 14-2.

The Bluejays (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors come into the Tomahawk contest with a 11-7 record.
