The Sisseton Redmen basketball team (Sisseton, SD), was overwhelmed 62-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD)

The Mustangs now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. Waubay/Summit will confront a Tigers team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Wyndmere (Wyndmere, ND). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.

The Redmen (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD). The Cavaliers come into the A Region 1 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Roncalli trounced Sully Buttes (Onida, SD), 54-34, in a non-league battle.
