Rhode Island High School Basketball - East Providence can't hold off Central

The Central Knights basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting East Providence Townies to 49 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumberland for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Central will battle a Clippers team coming off a 67-53 non-league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 1-3.
The Townies (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Bishop Hendricken edged La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 65-32, in a non-league contest.
