Colorado High School Basketball - Durango holds off Bloomfield

January 9, 2024: Durango, CO 81301

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Durango Demons (Durango, CO) and the visiting Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM), saw Durango's basketball squad hold off Bloomfield by a tally of 35-32.

With the victory, Durango improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Demons host Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Battle Mountain won 47-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Basalt (Basalt, CO)

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Bloomfield will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 61-16 non-league win over Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM).
