Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Native American Community Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 58-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cimarron upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Rams travel to Mora (Mora, NM) to play the Rangers/Rangerettes in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Rangers/Rangerettes go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Mora lost 38-34 in their recent non-league bout against McCurdy (Espanola, NM)

Next up, the Eagles play the Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Native American Community Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 54-8 non-league loss to Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM).
