The Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Comer Tigers (Sylacauga, AL), 51-21 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL). The Eagles go into the 3A Area 12 test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Hokes Bluff walloped Saks (Anniston, AL), 55-35, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Thorsby for a 2A Area 7 test on Thursday, January 11. Comer will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 40-37 league win over Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 7-6.
