The Coventry Oakers basketball squad (Coventry, RI), was tipped 42-40 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI)

The Clippers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels come into the Division 2 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Smithfield was nudged by Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 54-42, in a league battle.
