Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES (Detroit, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI), 34-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Detroit Cristo Rey upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The WOLVES travel to Northwestern (Detroit, MI) to clash with the Colts in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Northwestern lost 49-25 in their recent league bout against Western International (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Railsplitters clash with the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) in a Downriver bout, on Thursday, January 11. Lincoln Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 47-21 non-league loss to Jefferson (Monroe, MI).
