The Hempfield Black Knights basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado to 43 in the Black Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Black Knights now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Hempfield will meet a Cedars team coming off a 52-37 non-league win over Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Cedars record now stands at 10-2.
The Red Tornado (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Comets enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 contest with a 1-7 record.
