Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting International Panthers (New Orleans, LA), 40-3 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Varnado upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Pearl River (Pearl River, LA) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 13-3.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. International will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 40-26 non-league win over Franklinton (Franklinton, LA).
