The Salem Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Kennedy Trojans to 45 in the Crusaders league victory on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willamina for a 2A Tri-River contest on Thursday, January 11. Salem Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 43-38 league loss to Regis (Stayton, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.

The Trojans (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Western Christian (Salem, OR). The Pioneers come into the 2A Tri-River contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Western Christian prevailed over Santiam (Mill City, OR), 58-29, in a league contest.
