Tri-Township Tigers (LaCrosse, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN), 51-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tri-Township upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN) to play the Cherokees in a Porter County bout on Thursday, January 11. The Cherokees come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Morgan Township won 48-40 in their recent league bout against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN)

Next up, the Mustangs & Fillies play the Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Kouts will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record.
